Saved reports and CSV exports

Read a ready-made report for any period and take it away as a spreadsheet.

Who can do this: coordinators and admins. Trustees can read and export them too.

Gizzago comes with four saved reports:

  • Operations: loans, returns and what is overdue, week by week.
  • Inventory: what is borrowed and what sits on the shelf, by category.
  • Membership: joins, renewals and lapses by month.
  • Impact: numbers for funders: reach, loans and sessions.

Steps

  1. Choose Reports in the sidebar, then the Saved reports tab.
  2. Click the report you want, for example Membership.
  3. Choose your dates in From and To, then press Show.
  4. Read the sentence under the title. It sums up the period in plain words, for example "42 households with a current membership, 5 expiring in the next 30 days."
  5. Look at the chart, if the report has one, and the table below it.
  6. Open How these numbers are counted at the bottom to see exactly what each column means.
  7. To take the numbers away, press Export CSV at the top of the page.
What you'll see

"Export ready" and the name of the file, such as membership-2026-09-01-to-2026-09-30.csv. The file goes to your downloads folder. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice or Numbers.

If a period is empty you will see "No rows for this period. Try a longer one."

About CSV files

A CSV file is a plain spreadsheet with no formatting. If you open it in Excel and the dates look odd, widen the column. Keep exported files somewhere safe and delete them when you are done, as some reports name the toys families borrowed.

Small numbers

In a breakdown, any count from 1 to 4 is shown as "fewer than 5", so no family can be identified. A note under the table tells you when this has happened.

Other exports

You cannot make your own saved reports yet.
